Success Stories of Boys in Netball at Hillians Netball Club Inc.

Hillians Netball Club Inc. has been fortunate to welcome some outstanding boys who have begun their netball journey with us and gone on to achieve great success within the sport.

Many of our boys start in the GO Competition, progressing through to junior teams, where they play in the 13s and Under competitions alongside girls. As they age out of these mixed competitions, they transition into boys’ netball teams, continuing their development in a competitive environment.

We are proud that several of these players have gone on to be selected in Western Australia’s premier netball competition, the Gold Industry Group Western Australian Netball League (WANL). This represents the highest level of netball in the state and is a significant achievement.

Even more impressively, some former Hillians players have progressed further to represent Australia in men’s netball as part of the Australian Kelpies, highlighting the strong development pathways and opportunities that begin at grassroots level with Hillians.

These success stories reflect Hillians’ commitment to inclusion, development and providing pathways for boys in netball, from beginner level through to elite representation.
